The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), allowed the Turkish side to play their two-legged Champions League qualifier with Arsenal, which they lost 5-0 on aggregate, while they considered their appeal.
In an official statement, the court said: “Pursuant to the UEFA decision, which is now confirmed by the CAS, Fenerbahce is excluded from two editions of the UEFA club competitions.”
UEFA’s emergency panel, which will be chaired by president Michel Platini, will determine who will replace Fenerbahce in the competition on Thursday
